my horoscope of the day.

Be smart about a first encounter -- a coffee date is better than committing to a whole evening and it's plenty of time to assess a potential connection. If it's great, you can leave them wanting more!

Flattery, generosity and confidence could get you exactly where you need to be -- in either your career or your romantic life. Get cozy with the people who have the most influence over your life, and turn on the charm! Results should show up right away -- perhaps even before the end of the day. You are gaining more self-assurance, so don't hold back. This is the beginning of a very powerful phase for you -- for the first time in a while, you know you are capable of great things.

this is really frustrating. i cant believe i didnt notice that the papers are of different length! kaoz... now, i have to wait till tomorrow before i can proceed. shucks!

school has started for almost 2 months and it's really taking its toll on me. in addition to it, things havent exactly been going well and i think this is a period full of contradictions for me.

not exactly feeling great lately. actually, i've been quite upset over quite a number of things, but of course, mostly that one thing. the same thought has been repeating itself in my head more and more often, and i think i've finally taken the advice and made my decision. in the past, i always feel sad at the thought of it, but now that i've made up my mind, i'm actually happy. i guess it's way pass time for me, and i dragged it for long enough.

on the other hand, i've been meeting up with my ever-reliable bunch of secondary school friends quite often lately because of the different occasions. August is always a good meet-up period for us because school just started for them and there are a lot of birthdays to celebrate =) soooo..... these are my happy moments.

i hope that with the end of august, the sky will clear up and look a bit brighter.

This unfortunate incident happened today when i was on my way to a friend's place.

A girl wearing school uniform with school tie, carrying a bagpack, holding a book in her hands, tied two plaits, wearing glasses and her height is around 150cm board bus service 184 before me. The bus 184 is not the usual super long bus. In fact, it's those normal single deck bus.

She was asked by the bus driver to produce her student ez-link card for verification. If not, she'll have to pay the normal fare and not student fare. The girl told the bus driver that if she had brought her ez-link card, she wouldn't have to pay cash instead. And so, he reinstate that she has to bring her ez-link next time, if not, she would have to pay the normal fare.

I understand that there are JC students who looks older then their actual age, so it's essential that they produce a form of verification if they only want to pay the student fare. However, the girl looks like a normal secondary student. Moreover, she was in her school uniform. Even if she wasn't in her school attire, there is no doubt that she's still a student because she looks every bit like one.

Is there a need for the bus driver to be so harsh on a little girl who is obviously a student and just a kid? Does it mean that only ez-link verification can prove that she's a student even though she's already in school uniform? If so, then you should advise MOE to abandon the need for having school uniforms and allow students to just weat t-shirts and jeans to school, because obviously, wearing school uniform doesn't give them an identity as a student.

OMG. i think i have mentioned close to a million times about how i need to save money really badly. but everytime i'm out, supposedly doing some window shopping, i'll end up spending money.

anyway, i was out with xuan on wednesday. she need to buy shoes, but she ended up buying 2 tops and no shoes!!!! i ended up buying 2 tops and a bling bling wallet that i like a lot! =)

my bling bling wallet!! *grinz*

my 2 tops from Dorothy Perkins.

apart from that, i just asked Prisc to help my buy 2 pairs of jellies online. hahaha... i only wants 2 colours, black and gold. black for work and gold for going gai gai...

jelliessss.....

in addition to that, i needed to buy t-shirts for normal wear. i realised that i have a lot of nice nice tops that seemed to be a bit tooooooooooooooo formal for school. so, i went to the safari shop and bought 4 t-shirts. well, i like them very much cos i think they are really cute! =)

anyway.... i'm considering going back to Hypnosis to get the top that i like very much but couldnt bring myself to buy it.... hmmmm.... i hope it's still there when i go back....

it's 11:15am on a saturday morning and i'm actually awake.

i was out with bee and xuan yesterday night together with this whole group of international students with most of them coming from the Netherlands. gosh... you should imagine my shock when i saw them, there were too many of them and there were only xuan and i at the MRT station. they were not only towering over me, but i felt seriously outnumbered. i think i repeated my names for about 10 times? and i was trying really hard to remember all their names but it wasnt easy at all especially when all those Dutch names are really hard to pronounce.

we went to the porridge place for dinner at Chinatown and some of them ordered some porridge that they have no idea what's inside. hahaha... there was this guy sitting beside me (i cant remember his name), he ordered mixed porridge even though he has no idea what it is. seriously, i dont really know too, it just didnt occur to me that it's the pig's innards.

we brought them to eat durians afterward. as bee and xuan put it in a really nice way.... it's got an acquired taste. most of them managed to at least have a second bite at it, but seriously, apart from the dutch boy, the rest just couldnt agree with us. hahaha... even Mark couldnt take it...

Mark's way of telling you... he really cant take it anymore!

trying out the mangoesteens... this suits them better...

after trying out some of the tropical fruits, some of us made our way down to Clarke Quay for drinks... so on our way to the mrt station, i was talking to 2 guys. one is a Dutch and the other is a Dannish. thanks ah... the 2 of them were sooooooooooo tall that the 3 of us formed quite a picture can?! bee and xuan were laughing at me... saying that we looked like some mountains and valley. and they even wanted to take a photo of that really amusing picture -.-|||

anyway, guess what... i met Juice and Ziwei there. what a coincidence!!! hahaha...

was sitting with Arjan (i hope this is the correct spelling) and Mark together with Xuan and Bee.

we were talking about a lot of different stuffs... and i think i asked a lot of "diao" questions as usual... anyway, i think the sequence of the questions that i asked was wrong... but fortunately for me, they are realy liberal. if it's a local, i think the guy might have gotten the wrong idea. phewww...!

dearest Bee Bee and i =)

dearest Xuan and i =)

just before we were about to go home... these 3 brave souls decided to try the bungee ride

Mark :: Sheila :: i-really-cant-remember-his-name.

a very interesting day.

i dont think she's the only one that has a lot to consider.
now i understand why she's doing so.
you're asking for a lot when you cant afford to give as much.

i'm not sure if i'm still looking forward to it.
i'm not confident of what is going on.

and you know what....
i dont think you even know that you've made me really upset with your insensitive remarks,
or are they just a jest.
i'm not sure if i even know you.

that heavy feeling just wouldnt go away.
maybe i should give you the benefit of the doubt before i judge.
however, i'm just afraid that things will turn out the way that i dont want.

i'm trying very hard to think of the many reasons why i love you so.
but i'm afraid that you'll make them all become insignificant.
